Fragrance notes: frankincense, rosewood, nutmeg

This fragrance is inspired by the djinn of Arabic folklore and developed using the scents of the region. Djinn (pronounced "gin," you've probably seen the singular form of the word: genie) are elemental shape-shifting spirits from Arabic folklore. They are described as being created from smokeless flame, while humans are made of earth and clay. Djinn can assume the form of a human or animal, dwell in inanimate objects, or even possess a human at will. They are considered morally ambiguous and can be malicious or helpful, but frequently seen as trickster characters. The belief in djinn is widespread across North Africa and the Middle East. They appear in countless tales, most notably Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves in the famous Arabian Nights collection of folktales and the Disneyfied version of Aladdin where a boisterous singing genie leaps out of a magic lamp to offer Aladdin three wishes.
